Oh yum! Right next to Northwood Hills Station is Whistle Stop. It's a teeny little shop which does bacon sandwiches, suasage baps, hot beverages, soft drinks and snacks, etc.
Obviously is very popular with commuters, workmen and school kids alike.
Its open from about 6am I believe, and usually shuts about lunchtime.
There is often a queue outside the door, and the shop is clean and well run.
You can smell the bacon and sausages wafting down the platform when waiting for your train - all too tempting!

The sausage roll was exactly what I needed on my commute. It was fresh, well made and tasty. For a bite on the go this place was perfect.
